My vision is to inspire people around the world to create their own sustainable gardens to feed their minds, bodies, and spirits.
Who am I?
My name is Nancy Garrison, and I am a garden consultant (aka: garden coach), and pruner with my specialty being All Things Edible. I can help with site evaluation, best gardening practices, and selecting the best varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and cut flowers based on 30 plus years of growing and evaluating them here in Santa Clara Valley. I also prune fruit trees or better yet, teach you how to do it yourself. I have been doing garden presentations at local nurseries, UC Master Gardeners, garden clubs, adult education and other community organizations. for 30 plus years.
I have been gardening since 1971, when I planted my first vegetable garden on the 300 acre cattle ranch in Oregon where I was living at the time. I was hooked for life and decided that if I ever wanted to put down roots, I would need to go back to college to get an education. I hadn’t been interested in school in high school, but once I found my passion in agriculture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California, I became a great student, loved learning and graduated with my B.S. degree in crop science.
